Eight or nine months ago I was on a little bit of an Eggo craze (my roommates can attest to my many midnight Eggo meals). During one of these Eggo experiences I had the ingenious (if I do say so myself) idea to make a grilled cheese sandwich using Eggo waffles. I thought that the little bit of sweetness from the waffles along with the little squares would be perfect for dunking in tomato soup. Well after talking about it for 9 months my beautiful wife suggested that I make them for dinner the other night. I did and it was all I had hoped it would be. Behold my creation in pictures here.
